It is important to have a plan before starting a kitchen remodeling project. Placement of cabinets, countertops, and appliances is the first decision that will have to be made. Other decisions that will have to be made are the cabinets, countertops, and appliances that will be installed. Flooring, wall coverings, and window treatments will have to be chosen. It is best to make choices and purchases prior to the start of the project. A timely decision, during the project, can hold up progress; and not being able to find a particular item, once the project has been started, will delay completion.
