A lot of my friends at work now have kids in college. They’re constantly telling me how much tuition is absolutely killing them — and I’d have to agree. Some of these kids are going to schools that are going to cost a small fortune when all is said and done. So that started me thinking about alternatives. I’ve heard about online degrees, but I don’t know if they’re worth it. They’re MUCH cheaper, but if the degree isn’t good, then it’s really no use. So if anyone out there can answer the question what is distance learning, and tell me whether or not it’s worth it, I’d appreciate it.
